Paintless dent repair (PDR), also known as paintless dent removal, describes a method of removing all types of dents from car bodywork without the need of respraying and therefore without using filler or paint. The most common practical use for PDR is the repair of hail damage, door dings, minor creases, large dents and bodylines damage. This alternative repair method makes use of the elasticity and formability of the metal; the specially trained technicians repair the dent in a very specific way. They work with special tools of different shapes and sizes that were developed and customised for this repair method. Each dent is handled and treated individually to restore the original condition of the bodywork so that it looks as good as new.

Dents can be treated in two different ways; by exerting pressure from the inside or by pulling from the outside. A special tool, specifically developed for this repair method, is positioned precisely on the inside of the bodywork: the technician then systematically presses the deformed metal part back into its original form. To exert pressure from the inside, the dent has first to be made accessible from the interior. Treating the dent from the outside requires a pulling system tool based on adhesive technique. A special round hammer is then used for soft reshaping.

• Quality: The quality is the most important advantage. The bodywork of the car can be restored to its original condition without the use of filler or paint.
• Time required: The use of our method means considerable time savings in comparison to conventional repair methods, as no time is required to let various materials dry.
• Costs: As our repair method only requires the use of tools and the skill of the technician, considerable cost savings can be expected.
• Environment: As we do not use any materials, we do not produce any CO2 emissions and our method is therefore very environmentally friendly.

No. Modern automotive coatings are very flexible and are not damaged during repair work. The PDR method is actually the only way for repairing dents that keeps the original paint intact.

Yes. Bumps and dents are 100 per cent removed during repair work.

Definitely not, if the repair work was carried out by a professional with the PDR method.

Yes, if the car paint is intact and the dents are of small to medium size. If the damage is particularly severe, it may be more cost-effective to replace some of the bodywork sections or have them repainted.

This depends on the damage. To achieve optimum results it is often necessary to remove single parts of the interior cladding to access the inside more easily.

Exclusive use of traditional repair methods is not necessary. In this case we use our push-to-paint method. Metalworking and the use of fillers are not required. However, painting is necessary. The technician treats each individual dent to restore the bodywork to its original condition and prepare it perfectly for painting.

The PDR method also has its limits and is not always suitable for particularly deep or tapered dents or dents on edges.

Yes. Repairing these dents is slightly more difficult, but is still unproblematic with our method.
